Women in Construction Week

March 5-11, 2023 is Women in Construction Week! This week, we recognize our amazing women members for breaking the mold, and showing determination while working in a male-dominated field. This is a time to celebrate all the great initiatives and hard work of women within the construction industry, and to applaud them for empowering others to challenge the status quo. This innovative, “results matter” mindset perfectly exemplifies our women members at Peckham Industries. It is important that we do our part to bring awareness to the opportunities that women have in construction, whether they be on a construction crew, in sales or marketing, accounting and finance, HR, project management, equipment operation, or the various other sectors across Peckham, and the industry as a whole. Contribute to Women in Construction this week, and every week, by saying thanks and showing support to female coworkers, and commemorating their accomplishments! It takes a great deal of dedication to tackle the stereotypes that women face when it comes to career opportunities, particularly in the construction industry. Women in Construction is more than just a few days in March, it’s a movement that is far from finished.
