Details

This new 173,300 square foot parking structure features 4 elevated levels, 2 bays wide to accommodate approximately 458 cars. The garage was part of Providence VA Medical Center’s campus expansion.

The garage itself was situated on a very tight site. Not only did the sloping site create its usual challenges, the existing roadway to the emergency center came into play creating the need for a radius corner on the garage. The structure is a free standing total precast garage that features a combination of thin brick and simple reveals with a light grey color concrete at the exterior. The brick was selected to match the existing structures on-campus. The garage features a punch through stair at one end with a feature stair at the opposite end.

Dailey Precast worked extensively with Jarrett Construction to ensure continuous flow of precast deliveries while not disrupting the active campus. Precast erecting was completed during the Spring of 2019.
