Situated alongside the Merrimack River in Lawrence, MA, the campus is reinvigorating a historic area once home to iconic mill manufacturers with new commercial, office, and residential properties. This unique project consists of an elevated sports field atop a three-story parking garage.
The challenge of this project was the complex planning of its programming and coordination with the adjacent new commercial building and remodeling of the existing mill building into residential. The commercial building is a mix of retail, restaurant, event space, and corporate office programming with floor levels that directly connect to the adjacent sports field and parking garage.
Intended to be a gathering point for the community, the new 1,250-space parking structure, athletic field, and commercial building incorporate a broad mix of uses to activate the center of the campus. The design team worked closely with the client to optimize the functionality of each space to streamline circulation and servicing.
Dailey Precast showed determination and drive in getting this mixed-use garage completed with high-quality outcomes.
