Elliot Hospital Parking Garage, Manchester, NH

At Elliot Hospital, a few key site constraints guided the garage team’s approach to this three-level, 325 space structure. There were clear height requirements and slopes required due to easements. Existing underground structures could not be disturbed and unusual drainage was a given. The design features a structure with a high point in the middle, creating a tent-shaped design with a bridge to the top level from the adjacent land. Brick was added for architectural interest to make the structure more aesthetically appropriate for the surrounding neighborhood.
