Details

This new 100,100 square foot parking structure features 3 elevated levels, 2 bays wide to accommodate approximately 350 cars. The garage was part of The City of Worcester’s redevelopment of the rapidly growing Canal District.

The garage itself was situated on a very tight site. Not only did the sloping site create its usual challenges, the existing underground foundations presented challenges to which the design teams ended up redesigning the layout of the garage to work around the constraints on-site. The structure is a free standing total precast garage that features a combination of form liner patterns with light & dark grey color concrete at the exterior. The garage features one total precast stair tower with a feature stair/elevator tower at the opposite end.

Dailey Precast worked extensively with Gilbane/Hunt to ensure continuous flow of precast deliveries while not disrupting the active campus. Precast erecting was completed during the Spring of 2021.
