Palmer Paving Corp. wins 2025 NAPA Quality in Construction Award

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) has announced that Palmer Paving Corp. is a recipient of the 2025 Quality in Construction Award for excellence in asphalt pavement construction. The Quality in Construction Award recognizes projects that demonstrate the highest standards of quality, durability, and performance in the asphalt pavement industry.
“The asphalt pavement industry is resolute in its dedication to delivering projects of exceptional quality and performance for the traveling public. Each project honored with a Quality in Construction Award is rigorously evaluated against the highest industry standards, reflecting an unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Pat Nelson, 2025 NAPA Chairman, in the press release.
Palmer Paving Corp. earned this national recognition for the mill and overlay of Route 32 through the towns of Hardwick, New Braintree, Ware, and West Brookfield, Massachusetts. To deliver a high-performing and sustainable roadway, the company utilized asphalt mixes incorporating Warm Mix Asphalt and reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP). These environmentally responsible practices conserve natural resources, reduce emissions, decrease landfill waste, and enhance long-term pavement durability.
Despite a tight construction schedule and heavy traffic conditions throughout the corridor, Palmer Paving Corp. delivered an asphalt roadway built with outstanding workmanship, consistent density, and a clean, uniform finish. This award reflects the dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence demonstrated by the entire Palmer Paving team in serving the communities of Massachusetts and the traveling public.
