Details
This parking garage in the center of downtown Saratoga Springs is a four-story structure connecting to the City Center convention facility via a skybridge. The community hopes the new garage will alleviate a downtown parking crunch that is particularly challenging during the tourist-driven summer months. With the addition of this structure, the city will benefit from transforming a 188-space surface lot into a 600-space garage.
The City Center plans to utilize the parking structure in unique ways, including holding catered events on the rooftop and allowing the local farmers market to use interior spaces during the winter.
With five supported levels built into a significant slope, the structure features entrances at ground level and at level two. Dailey Precast used three colors of brick to create the overall rich brown appearance of the exterior, providing some contrast to the red brick used on several surrounding buildings.
