Details

The project consisted of complete replacement of the bridge located on Route 103 over the York River. The new 7 span, 510′ long precast/ pre-stressed concrete bridge replaces the existing 17 span steel girder bridge. Fabrication involves 28 NEXT Beams varying in length between 55′-80′. Installation of NEXT Beams began in late August, completed in Mid-September and the bridge opened in November of 2010.
