E. Tetz & Sons, LLC

Our History

E. Tetz and Sons, LLC and Tetz Asphalt, LLC has been a family-owned and operated construction materials supplier for the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas since 1956. The companies were founded by Edward Tetz Sr., otherwise known as “Pop.”  With a truck, a shovel and a wheelbarrow, Pop started delivering gravel. Pebble by pebble, bolt by bolt, E. Tetz & Sons, LLC and Tetz Asphalt, LLC has grown from there. We pride ourselves on maintaining safe and clean facilities, equipment, and trucks, and delivering value as the trusted supplier of construction materials, products, and services throughout the Hudson Valley. Tetz joined the Peckham Family of Companies in 2023.

Asphalt

Tetz Asphalt, LLC opened in 2009 and is located in Middletown, NY. We manufacture high quality hot mix and warm/cold asphalt and other construction materials for local contractors in Orange County, NY and the surrounding areas. Hot and warm mix asphalt is made up of approximately 95% aggregates, asphalt binder, additives, and modifiers used in roads, highways, parking lots and driveways. Of the 2.8 million miles of paved roads in the U.S., about 94% are surfaced with asphalt.
